Art & the Unconscious
Between the creative imagination and the unconscious, art becomes fertile soil where our inner lives meet the wider world, and where personal experience encounters myth, culture and the collective imagination.
I work with creatives, artists, writers and cultural institutions who wish to explore the psychological and symbolic dimensions of their work. Jungian sessions can deepen an artist’s relationship with their own imagination and the work that emerges from it. Whether reflecting on an artistic practice, developing a project or considering the deeper themes within a collection or exhibition, each session begins with an exploration of questions, images and ideas that are asking for attention.
Through conversation, symbolic dialogue, somatic engagement, dreams and imagination, we create space for new perspectives to emerge, deepening the connection between the creative process, the individual and the world in which the work takes shape.
